Credit Card No Credit Check

These days it seems as though everyone needs a credit card as cash becomes less convenient and checks even more so.  I use my credit and debit cards nearly everywhere I go be it a store, restaurant, or drive thru.

It is more convenient for me than carrying around my checkbook or fumbling with cash when I’m in a hurry.  Friends and family have noticed how much more convenient it is for me to use credit whenever possible but not all of them have the credit to qualify for a card and wonder how to get a credit card no credit check required.

Getting A Credit Card With No Credit Check

Getting a credit card with no credit check might have been impossible not to long ago but the world is changing and as technology and consumers change with more companies are trying to make it possible for anyone who wants or needs a credit card to get one.

I personally like the idea of getting a credit card with no credit check because it is one less thing that is going to show up on, and therefore impact, my credit report.

Having a credit card without going through a credit check means that there is no inquiry and no future lenders are going to wonder about a mysterious credit company inquiring about my credit and if I owe an undisclosed balance to this mystery company.

Many banks and even a few major chain stores such as Wal-Mart and Target offer credit cards that are prepaid.  This means that you place a set amount on your credit card so that you can use it and when the amount is spent you can not use it until you add more.  Because there is no risk of the owner going over a balance having late payments there is no need to perform a credit check.

There are also banks and companies that offer credit cards without a credit check without any pre payment necessary.  These companies require that a yearly fee be paid which is immediately taken out of the available credit line.

In some cases the interest rates on these cards are going to be higher because the finance companies are going to be operating under the assumption that the reason someone wants a credit card without a credit check is because they have a bumpy or bad credit history.

By charging a fee and higher interest rate they are doing what they can to protect themselves from the chance that someone will default on a card.

Where Can I Use My Card?

When you get a credit card no credit check required you can use it at all of the same places where you would usually use your traditional credit card.  These cards can be used to make purchases online, in stores, and in restaurants.  You can also use your credit card to make reservations at hotels along with reservations for car rentals.
