TRW Free Credit Report

Everyone needs a free credit report from time to time whether to just check and see what’s being reported for your own piece of mind or to make sure that there is no fraudulent activity that needs to be disputed.

One way to find out about your credit is to take advantage of a trw free credit report. TRW credit reports, also sometimes referred to as Experian, are a major credit reporting agency that many lenders and creditors use when checking your overall credit worthiness.

Why Check Your Credit?

I’ve mentioned a few of the most common reasons to check your credit.  To guard against identity theft or to just see how your credit looks but you should also be checking your credit before you make any major purchase.

If you walk onto a car lot or a bank planning to apply for financing but have no idea what your credit looks like you are setting yourself for a stressful experience.  I know that there is nothing worse than applying for an auto loan and then sitting in the dealership waiting anxiously to see if you are going to qualify for your car or not.

If you’ve checked your credit before beginning a loan application then you have a pretty good idea of where you stand.  You might not know if you are going to qualify or not but at least you won’t be going into the situation blind.  Also if you are not approved then you will have a pretty good idea of why you didn’t qualify.

How to Get Your Report?

The best way to get your trw free credit report is online by signing up for a free trial of their credit monitoring service.  This service does more than just give you a copy of your credit report and leave you to your own devices.

This service will explain your credit report to you and let you know how to read it if you have never checked your credit before.  It will explain what a judgment is; help you understand the various levels of delinquency, and more.

When you sign up for the service you will be given at least 30 days of access to their credit monitoring service along with unlimited access to your credit report.  During that trial you will be notified each time any changes are made to your credit report.

So if a new account is opened and reported on your credit report you will know about it.  Also if any inquires are made and then reported on your credit you will be told about it.

As long as you cancel you the service before the end of the trial you will not be charged and therefore you will be able to not only have a trw free credit report, but you will also be able to have up to date monitoring of the report for a month.
